Haven't finished my stay yet but had to review now because it's such an amazing place. It's like out of a fairytale. Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Reception treated us amazing from the moment we arrived. Had some initial issues with the Jacuzzi and housekeeping came promptly to help. I would 100% recommend this place after just our first day here.
This is a very beautiful cave hotel in Kapadokya. The service is great and all the people are very friendly. The rooms are very spacious. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I have heard good things about the Spa at this hotel. Definitely recommended.
My family and I had a terrific stay! Close to local attractions, walking distance to shopping and the best food in the area on-site.
Plenty of vegan food available for breakfast lunch and dinner.
The rooms were spectacular.
I had a wifi repeater on hand, and I highly recommend it.
The cave hotel is incredible, out of this world. So beautiful. The service in the restaurant is 10/10 super yummy food. The swimming pool and the Hamad are incredible is a must on your trip. My only complain was we didn't have light in our room for 2 days. But from that everything is amazing.
What an amazing hotel and wonderful staff. The hotel is quite large, with lots of outdoor rooftop seating with great views. Room was great. Staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. Will definitely recommend to anyone going to Cappadocia.
It was like living in a cave. It got cold at night but the room has heaters on the floor. Good spread of breakfast & good service. Scenic view from hotel room with lots of seats & places to chill at the rooftops.
Almost perfect except for WiFi (none in all the rooms). Mobile data reception in our room was nil too. Guess because we’re in a cave?
We stayed in one of the rooms that are not really caves, but instead stone buildings. Very nice and well thermally insulated, despite going in winter and there being no heating, we were not cold. There are many stairs so it is a bit hard to navigate around the hotel and can be problematic for people with reduced mobility although it did not affect us.
The internet connection does not reach the rooms, something that I find incomprehensible in a 5-star hotel.
As for food, dinner was a 3 course menu set by the tour. The waiters do not speak English so it is very difficult to communicate if you have any dietary restrictions. The dishes are not different from what you find in other hotels and the food is average.
The breakfast buffet is good. It is relatively varied and good quality but don't expect a European experience.
The views are magnificent and we would have liked to enjoy a drink at one of the rooftops but it was always full of other guests with a DJ and loud music. It did not seem like a quiet place for us. The drinks are well priced but the shisha was €25.
The hotel was 15 minutes away by car from the center of Cappadocia where the balloons fly, so you need a taxi or transfer to get to all the tourist spots.
Down the road, there is a small but cosy village which doesn't seem to be very touristy. We bought souvenirs and nuts on the shops close to the hotel which were very well priced.
Overall good for Turkey but not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel based on what I mentioned above. In the end it is probably one of the best hotels to stay in Cappadocia.
It is an absolutely beautiful and truly unique hotel and location. Our jaws dropped!!!! We had two incredibly beautiful rooms for our family. Each room seemed very different and uniquely shaped, given they are truly a mountain cave room. Our bathroom was small, with a huge living space and a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. But our twin daughters’ room had a good-sized living space, a beautiful canopy bed, and a huge bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub, Turkish bath, and shower. It was the size of a bedroom. Indeed, a girls heaven!!! The reception service is very organized and very friendly. The housekeeping and food service were not pleasant, except for our server this morning on the top deck, Mr. Omer. He was warm and friendly and gave excellent service. Look for him on the top patio. He is the best. We had to call housekeeping for an extra pillow and top sheet for my husband, and when the lady came, she gave me two pillows. I tried to explain, and I wanted to show her the sheet we needed, but she waved me off and walked away very rudely. They also didn't resupply toilet paper and wash towels. I went to the pool bathroom to get my roll for the room. These minor details didn't have much impact but could share some awareness for future customer service.
Overall, I have to say that after traveling throughout Turkey, this was our family’s favorite hotel and location!!!! We can highly recommend this hotel.
You will love it!!!!!
